SECTION 1 — LIFETIME GUARANTEE (PATCHES & COINS ONLY)

We stand behind every patch and coin we make — for life. Our Lifetime Guarantee covers Badass Patches–custom patches and coins only. Other products are not included.

If your patch or coin ever fails during normal use for its intended purpose, we’ll make it right with a replacement.

How to Start a Guarantee Claim

To initiate a claim, please email orders@badasspatches.com with:

  • Proof of purchase

    • Any one of the following:

  • Paid invoice number

  • Name associated with the order

  • Email used at checkout

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Attach at least two different photos supporting the claim

A team member will reply with the appropriate form and next steps — no hoops.

SECTION 1A — WHAT THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER

To keep our guarantee fair and focused, it does not apply to issues caused by:

  • Misuse, improper care, or exposure to harsh conditions (e.g., washing machines, solvents, adhesives, extreme heat)

  • Intentional damage

  • Loss or theft

  • Unauthorized modifications or alterations

  • Third-party replicas or remakes not produced by Badass Patches

  • Normal, expected aging of materials over extended time

SECTION 1B — NORMAL VARIATIONS

Because our products are custom-made, minor variations may occur between production runs. These small differences do not qualify as defects.

Examples include:

  • Slight color or texture differences between batches

  • Minimal thread or stitching variation

  • Material finish inconsistencies within normal manufacturing tolerance

These natural variations are part of the custom process and do not impact the integrity or performance of your patch or coin.

SECTION 2 — MEDIATION & REMEDIES

Because each item is made to order, the resolution of any issue is handled through mediation, resulting in a remedy appropriate to the specific situation.

After reviewing your case, our team may issue one of the following remedies:

  • Store credit

  • Product remake or replacement

  • Refund to the original payment method

All mediation-related decisions are reviewed and completed by a senior team member, ensuring accuracy and fairness on a case by case basis.

Processing Timelines

  • Most claims are reviewed within 3–5 business days

  • Remedies are issued within a reasonable timeframe after approval

SECTION 2A — POLICY MISUSE

To protect the integrity of the guarantee for everyone, Badass Patches may deny claims that show signs of:

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Excessive or repeated requests inconsistent with normal use

  • Attempts to exploit the policy outside its intended purpose

We always aim for fairness — this clause simply ensures equal treatment for all customers.

SECTION 2B — LIMITED & RETIRED PRODUCTS

If a guaranteed item is limited edition, discontinued, or unable to be remade, the remedy may be issued as:

  • Store credit, or

  • A comparable product, if available

We’ll always communicate options clearly and work toward the best possible outcome to satisfy our customers.

SECTION 3 — RETURNS

Most orders do not require customers to mail items back. If a physical return is needed as part of a specific case, a team member will provide instructions and paid postage.

SECTION 4 — FINAL DECISION

Badass Patches reserves the right to determine eligibility and the appropriate remedy based on the circumstances of the claim. Our goal is always fairness, clarity, and doing right by our customers.
